Overzee guesthouse offers accommodation in a log-home overlooking the Indian Ocean. As we are situated in a nature conservation area, you can enjoy the Coastal Fynbos, Bushbuck, Cape Greybuck, mongoose and so much more. More than 85 different bird-species are counted, among them the second rarest bird of South Africa the “Oystercatcher�. Watch the whales (from May-November) and the dolphins play from your room or balcony. From the guesthouse you can do the famous “St Blaize hiking trail� meandering along the cliffs. A visit to the Museums, old stone buildings and the Khoi-cave are a must. Go and see the great white shark, we can arrange cage diving for you as well as horse riding, scuba-diving, bungi jumping as well as other activities. As Mossel Bay is the gateway to the world famous Garden Route you can enjoy daytrips through the Garden Route and Little Karoo. Trips to Knysna, George, Oudtshoorn are within 1-hour drive from the Guesthouse. Be nostalgic and travel on the Outeniqua Tsjoo-Choo, the steam hauled train operating through the Garden Route. The guesthouse comprises of two en suite double/twin bedrooms and a large en suite family room (sleeps 4). All the rooms have private entrance, coffee and tea facilities, TV (VCR in family room) and a deck. Braai(BBQ) available on request. All rooms on a 3-4 star level. A short walk (5 min.) and you are on the most beautiful sandy beach.
