As Africa´s economic powerhouse, South Africa is well known for its thriving economy, excellent business opportunities, great investment returns and let´s not forget the fantastic weather to mention a few. For many of these reasons, this country sees tourist, business people and investors flocking to its splendors. Sadly for this country, many of these much needed visitors are like the proverbial moths to the flame. Under the surface of this facade lies a much darker side to this beautiful country that many visitors are aware of, just not the magnitude of crime within South Africa. With one of the highest crime rates in the world, the country´s violent crime statistics are so severe it makes its own citizens fear for their lives on a daily basis. As seen countless times in the media, foreign visitors are often the target of choice due to their lack of understanding of the country and their obvious financial status.

Statistics: South African Police Service
|
As the figures above indicate, the police service can not protect its own citizens; much less assure any form of safety to foreign visitors. Criminal predators find it easy to single out foreigners, making them the prey of choice due to the amounts of money, digital equipment etc. carried by them and often finding them not being able to read dangerous situations and locations as well as local citizens would. These attacks are often on guests of corporate companies, embassies, etc. leaving these organizations feeling responsible and traumatized by these events with their reputations and relationships being irreversible tarnished by these criminals.
Although these are complex problems, to you the solution is simple:
