Mtrack is a self contained, self-powered, wireless location unit with a typical life of 1 year on an hourly sleep cycle, but over 3 years on movement sensing alone.
Minimal installation requirements mean that the unit can be fitted quickly and covertly, and away from the attention of possible informants to criminal distribution chains.
Due to Mtrack being self contained, its biggest advantage is that there are no external leads running to the unit - either for power or an antenna. This makes the unit extremely difficult to find. Mtrack is made of high impact polycarbonate compound, it is small, compact and waterproof to 1 metre. It is totally sealed against natural elements such as dust, water and smoke, and has a built in anti-tamper device. Due to its portability and size, it is easily hidden in assets and movable loads.
Mtrack contains a GSM module and a long-range, narrow band radio beacon. An internal motion sensor, external tamper switch or remote instruction triggers the unit’s alarm transmission.
