Yes, to be able to register, you will need an email address - but is is not necessary for the listing.  You may exclude your email adress. 

If you supply your email address - it will not be visible on the site - so you wouldn't receive spam email from all over, but people who would like to get hold af you can easily fill in a form and you will be notified.  Make sure it's correct.
